<FAMILY
STORIES>

Stories hold us, undo us, teach us what we already know, again and again. Our first instinct is to hold on tight, to put everything away for later.

Making a time to tell again, for neither the first nor the last time, the stories of love, comings, passings, adventures that your family loves to hear is a way of honoring the joy of being together in the world.

We speak together about what stories you would like to share and how I can help.

3

There are usually three steps: our initial consultation about who and how many stories. (At this point, I provide an estimate).

Next, we begin to gather the stories, usually over a snack or a meal, during several hours or quickly, letting the story-teller set the pace.

In the third step, you receive a proof of the text to ensure that details are accurate. After the stories have been approved by you, you receive several copies of a bound book with photos and audio CD to share with aunts, cousins, siblings, children.
